Cubes in Cups Puzzle Hint

Genre: Lateral Thinking Rating: 5 - Medium Source: Dudeney, Canterbury Puzzle 55
Brain Functions: Lateral Thinking, Creativity Puzzle    Solution

There is no set of 3 odd numbers that add up to 10. We are tempted to put 7 cubes in one cup and 3 in another, but we need to put at least one cube into every cup. We are not allowed to remove one cube or pulverize it. Another creative answer that is not allowed is to declare that 8 sugar cubes in one cup is a very odd (strange) number.

No, for this puzzle we need to use all ten cubes (intact) so that each of the three cups contains an odd number of cubes. Is there a way to count one of the cubes twice?
