It has no calibrating marks - just the ability to balance two weights and show you if they are equal or if one side is heavier than the other. Exactly one of twelve coins is slightly lighter or slightly heavier than the other eleven; you don't know if it's heavier or lighter. You are allowed to perform three weighings. Determine which coin is different and whether it is heavier or light.
