Knight's Tour Puzzle Solution

Genre: Visual Thinking Rating: 6 - Medium to Hard Source: Unknown
Brain Functions: Visual Thinking, Logic Puzzle    Hint

Using standard chess moves, can you move the knight from the upper left corner square so that it lands on each of the other 63 squares exactly once and ends on the diagonally opposite corner square?

You will need to make exactly 63 moves. Your first move will be from a white square to a black square. The next move after that will end on a white square.

Every odd numbered move will end on a black square. Therefore, the 63rd move will end on a black square. But your goal is the white square in the lower right corner. It is not possible to perform the task set out in the puzzle. So the answer to the question is NO.
